Botox Treatments
Anti-Wrinkle Injections for a smoother complexion
Reduce Wrinkles & Fine Lines
If fine lines and wrinkles are starting to bother you, anti-wrinkle injections are one of the simplest ways to soften them. You’ll be in and out in around 15 minutes, with no downtime, so you can head straight back to your day.
You’ll start to notice results within a few days, with the full effect settling over 10 to 14 days and typically lasting around three months. Every treatment is tailored to you, so your expression stays natural, just more relaxed and refreshed.
The treatment works by gently relaxing the muscles that cause lines to form, which means you get smoother skin without losing the warmth of your natural expression. It’s a safe, precise option when performed by a qualified medical practitioner, which is why every treatment at Tinkable is carried out by our experienced doctors and nurses.
Botox also helps with concerns beyond lines and wrinkles. If you struggle with excessive underarm sweating, jaw tension from teeth grinding or clenching, or a dimpled chin, a targeted treatment can make a real difference to how you look and feel.
For a more complete refresh, many patients pair Botox with other aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers to restore volume, or Profhilo to boost hydration and skin quality at the same time.

Treatments that work beautifully alongside Botox
Botox is often just one part of a wider plan. Pairing it with the right complementary treatment can give you a more refreshed, balanced result, and your practitioner will talk you through the best options at your consultation.
Here are the treatments our patients most often combine with Botox:
- Dermal Fillers — where Botox softens movement, fillers restore lost volume. A natural pairing for a refreshed overall look, with targeted options for cheeks, lips, jawline and tear troughs.
- Profhilo — a skin booster that deeply hydrates and firms. Ideal if you want smoother, plumper skin alongside softer lines.
- Polynucleotides — advanced skin regeneration that works beneath the surface to improve tone and texture over time.
- Sculptra — a gradual collagen stimulator for longer-term volume restoration and firmness.
- PRP Treatment — uses your own plasma to stimulate natural skin rejuvenation.

Anti-Wrinkle (Botox) FAQ's
What is a Botox Injection?
It’s a muscle relaxant agent, produced from bacteria, that interferes with muscle contraction. This allows the product to smooth out lines and wrinkles effectively.
What areas of the face can be treated?
Botox can treat Crows Feet, horizontal forehead lines, and frown lines between the brows. It can also be used on the mouth corners to lift a downturned appearance, and on the masseter muscle to relieve jaw tension and slim the lower face.
Can Botox be used elsewhere other than the face?
In a medical setting, Botox has a wide range of uses. In a cosmetic setting, it’s also commonly used to reduce excessive underarm sweating, giving you long-lasting dryness and confidence throughout the day.
Is Botox painful?
No, the procedure is virtually painless due to the fine gauge of the needle and the minuscule amount of the Botox product injected.
How long will the Botox treatment take?
The longest part of the treatment will be the medical consultation and consent. The Botox injections themselves will take a maximum of ten minutes. Allow for a total appointment time of 30-40 minutes for your first visit.
Once I've had a Botox treatment, how long will it last?
Documented evidence suggests that Botox can last anywhere from two to three months, with some research finding it can last longer.
How many Botox treatments will I need?
A perfect result for the majority of people can be obtained in a single session. Most clinics allow for a free check-up after about 10 days. Longevity can be maintained with minor top-ups. Repeat treatments are every three to four months.
How long will it be before I see results?
Results from your Botox treatment will be gradual, taking full effect over a period of time lasting anywhere up to 10 to 14 days in some cases.
Who can benefit from Botox treatments?
Younger clients are now turning to Botox as a method of prevention for expression lines and wrinkles. Almost anyone can benefit from the treatment, whether it be a prophylactic measure or just to soften existing wrinkles.
What can go wrong?
Very little. However, as with any pharmaceutical product, there are potential side effects. Side effects that occur are known to be extremely minor, i.e., possible initial reddening or bruising at the injection site, and of a temporary nature.
Who can perform Botox procedures?
Doctors, dentists and nurses are able to perform Botox treatments, but only if they have specialist training in facial injectables. Your consultation should always be face to face with a medical prescriber. At Tinkable, all our treatments are carried out by qualified medical professionals, and you can meet the team before your appointment.
Why is it important to see a medical practitioner for Botox?
Medical practitioners have the training, experience and understanding of facial anatomy needed to keep your treatment safe and effective. They can also manage any rare complications. You can read more about our standards in our Patient Charter.
Why is a face-to-face consultation with a prescriber necessary?
A face-to-face consultation is crucial for a thorough medical assessment, understanding your concerns and expected outcomes, and ensuring medical suitability. It also allows for detailed discussion of potential side effects and contraindications.
In addition, it would be classed as an illegal treatment if the prescriber didn’t see you face to face, Video, Face time etc is not exceptable. This means the practitioner offering such service would not be insured and has obtained the Botox through dubious means.
Is there any aftercare?
Yes, your practitioner will guide you through everything at your appointment and you’ll have a contact number if you need them. In the meantime, avoid touching the area, steer clear of saunas, steam rooms and sunbeds, and keep your skin protected with SPF. If you want to look after your skin longer term, our Obagi skincare system is a great way to support your results at home.
