Full Face - Shaping and Contouring
To restore the shape and contour of a face two main aspects of treatment need to be considered replacing loss of volume with treatments such as lifting the cheeks and or volumising the cheek area. Filling folds and lines such as tear toughs that may have developed over the years and the second aspect is removing or reducing un-wanted volume such as jowls, double chins, etc once the shape is restored to the face the contours need to enhanced, for example to enhance the bow of the lip or to lift the eye brow, to polish and restore the tone and clarity of the skin.
A programme for Full Face Treatments may need to combine many different products or treatment types. Generally the upper 1/3 will be treated with Botox, Vistabel or Dysport.
The Mid face to lower face include dermal fillers such as Restylane, Restylane Perlane, Juvederm or Radiesse.
How ever there are two Products or treatments which target the whole of the face. They are Sculptra, Frequently known as the face lift by injection. The main property of Sculptra is to simulate your own collagen to Restore volume.
The second product is Restylane Vital or Restylane Vital Light. Restylane Vital is for 35+ year olds and Vital Light is for younger persons. However Restylane Vital Light is more appropriate for areas of the face where the skin is thinner.
Restylane Vital and Restylane Vital Light restore the mydro balance to the skin, plump and add tone to the skin while targeting damage caused by the environment such as age spots and pigmentation.
In any full face programme additional or alternative treatments should be considered, such as, Laser Rejuvenation, Micro Dermabrasion, Skin Peels, Laser Pigmentation, Diathermy and the use of the DCL- Anti Aging System. Also to be considerd are botox injections and Restylane SubQ.
