Restylane Vital Light - Cosmetic Injections
Restylane Vital Light is the ideal treatment for the correction of dry, dull skin giving a fresh look, hydrated skin and reduced lines and wrinkles, due to the plumping effect. Areas best treated with Restylane Vital Light are the whole of the face, not targeting specific lines or wrinkles, the hands, the neck and décolletage.

HA (Hylaronic acid) is a naturally occurring polysaccharide which has important structural functions in Skin and connective tissues. HA is strongly hydrophilic and performs a natural hydrating function within the dermis.
Functions of Hylaronic acid:
Structural integrity of tissues, protection, Lubrication of joints and soft tissue, Water balance, Transport of nutrients, Cell mobility and proliferation, Tissue growth and wound repair.
Restylane Vital Light is stabilised hylaronic acid. Stabilization is a minimal form of cross linking and means the product is altered by less than 1% from the bodies own hylaronic acid.
As Hylaronic acid is hydropyllic (meaning it draws water to it) it will naturally attract water and hydrate the tissues. This will occur with all restylane products. The difference with Restylane Vital Light is that it is a smooth gel and will spread in the tissues instead of filling a wrinkle or fold so Vital Light will hydrate a larger area of skin. e.g. the backs of the hands, larger areas of the face therefore hydrating skin and combating dryness , sun damage etc.
The product will also spread to the fibroblasts in the skin and by mechanically stretching these will cause them to act like a younger persons producing collagen.
