How Sculptra™ Works

Unlike surgical options, Sculptra™ can provide gradual, natural-looking results with less traumatic treatment. Sculptra™ works in the lower layers of the skin to smooth and firm the treated areas of the face. The procedure can be performed at a re-enhance clinic and can take as little as 30 minutes.

Sculptra™ is injected into the areas requiring treatment. The number of necessary injections depends on several factors, including your age, how deep your wrinkles are, and the type of treatment you desire. After your first treatment, your healthcare professional will determine whether or not you need subsequent treatments to obtain the desired results.

In contrast to some other treatments that require frequent refresher sessions, a clinical study has shown that the aesthetic improvements obtained with Sculptra™ have persisted for up to 2 years in many patients

The second product is Restylane Vital or Restylane Vital Light. Restylane Vital is for 35+ year olds and Vital Light is for younger persons. However Restylane Vital Light is more appropriate for areas of the face where the skin is thinner.

What is Restylane Vital?

Restylane is an injectable form of hyaluronic acid specially formulated for skin hydration.

Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found in the connective tissue of our skin and along with collagen forms the building blocks of healthy tissues. By replenishing nature’s supply of hyaluronic acid, Restylane revitalizes and plumps up the skin, provides deep dermal hydration, moisturising from within to improve skin tone and health. It diminishes the fine crêpey lines caused by sun damage and the natural aging process and smooths the skin to give a plump and hydrated look.

Restylane is injected directly into the skin in small amounts by an ultrafine needle. The gel produces volume under the skin, which is lifted up and smoothed out.

The result from the treatment is immediate. After the initial intense treatment of 3 treatment sessions every 2-3 weeks, follow-up sessions are normally recommended around every 6 months
